Redmond home staging designed for the home you’re selling

Redmond has some of the most varied housing on the Eastside, with distinct neighborhoods recognized by the City of Redmond. Downtown and Overlake are full of new-construction townhomes and condos with open plans and tall windows. Education Hill, Grass Lawn and Idylwood are known for established family homes on mature lots. Redmond Ridge, English Hill, Novelty Hill and Bear Creek bring larger homes with bonus rooms, big kitchens and outdoor living spaces.

Each of those homes needs a different design, and that is where Redmond home staging done right makes the difference. We plan every room around the architecture, the windows, the closets and the way buyers will move through the space. Furniture is scaled to the room, because oversized pieces make a home feel small and undersized pieces make it feel cheap. The goal is always the same: a home that feels warm, elegant and rich, and inspires buyers to want it as their own.

A modern Redmond townhome

Clean lines, slatted wood accents and a stone fireplace gave this townhome real character. We kept the palette light, added greenery and current art, and chose furniture that let every room feel open while still showing buyers exactly how each space lives.

A Redmond home staging story: designing around a choppy floor plan

The seller of this Redmond home did his research. His goal was to sell for the highest possible price, and he wanted the staging company that could get him there.

The house had a choppy floor plan, so we designed the staging around how buyers would actually want to live in it. The formal room to the right of the front door became an inviting entertaining space instead of a dining room. We moved the dining table into the large open kitchen area, where it felt natural and connected to the rest of the home. And the huge bonus room became a fourth bedroom, exactly what buyers in this market were looking for.

The seller understood the vision from the start, and it worked. The home sold for top dollar, and brokers touring it kept asking the same question: who staged this house? That one home brought us multiple referrals. Take the full tour below.

Why Redmond sellers choose IntExt Staging

We own everything it takes to stage a home beautifully: the furniture, the art, the warehouses, the trucks and the crew. With the inventory to stage more than 100 homes at a time, our Redmond home staging gives every home a full, cohesive design, never whatever happens to be left in the warehouse. Our designer personally selects and orders our furniture. As a result, it stays current with today’s trends.

We stage vacant homes only. An empty home is a controlled space, so it shows exactly like the listing photos at every showing, and our furniture stays free of pet odors, stains and wear. You can read the full comparison in our guide, Vacant vs. Occupied Home Staging.

And we’re dependable. Because we own our inventory, we never cancel a booking because furniture runs short. Much of our business comes from referrals, because brokers touring our listings ask, “Who did your staging?”

“The pieces themselves are of exceptional high quality and flawless. They use real furniture, no blow up beds, for all their staging, which sets them apart from their competition.”

How staging works for a Redmond listing

It starts with a short video walkthrough so we can confirm the square footage, which rooms to stage and your budget. We send a proposal designed around your home, and once it’s approved, our crew delivers and installs everything in a single day. Schedule your photographer for the day after staging, so every room is settled and camera ready.

When your home is under contract, we recommend keeping the staging through inspection. We pick everything up about a week before closing. For every step in detail, read The Home Staging Process, Step by Step. Brokers can also see A Broker’s Guide to Working with a Home Stager.
